Young Lions Italy 2013

Young Lions is a competition where designers and copywriters under 28 years of age have 24 hours to develop a project based on a creative brief by an organization.

In 2013, the italian national competition in the branding category, “Giovani Leoni Design”, consisted in developing a new brand identity for the competition itself. Our proposal was inspired in the element that differentiates a young lion from an older one, its mane. In nature, the mane grows larger and darker with the lion’s age. The Young Lions competition represents an opportunity for talented designers to get more experience and let their metaphorical mane grow larger. Each one of the four colors represents the categories of the competition.
